How Dublaa works
Dublaa is here to make finding your car parts a highly enjoyable experience. We pride ourselves on finding you the best deals around with reputable suppliers, so you save time & money and avoid any hassle.
To ensure you experience a successful and safe buying experience with Dublaa, we’ve pulled together some guidance below.
How to get the car part you want:
Using the Dublaa platform you can get hold of any car part you need, as we have many car parts suppliers ready to help you.
- Enter your vehicle details – VIN, make & model.
- Enter details of the car part you need – you can add photos and videos too.
- Submit your request.
- Receive & compare quotes from multiple suppliers.
- Choose the best deal for you – the nearest or cheapest part; or the most reputable supplier.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT SUPPLIER/QUOTE
- Always read the supplier’s review.
- Do your research if you’re not sure about the cheapest price, as everything has a market value. If it's considerably cheaper than others, it’s rare on Dublaa, but sometimes it may be too good to be true.
- Look at a supplier’s warranty period. Whilst others could be cheaper, a longer warranty may give you added value in terms of peace of mind.
- Check the supplier's location. If they’re local to you, you could inspect the item yourself, save on delivery costs and get the part quicker.
- Look at the length of time the supplier has been trading.
- If a supplier has no reviews, this could simply be down to being a new trader on DUBLAA, if you’re not sure, please check.
- Only suppliers registered with the site can access your contact details. If you receive a call from a supplier, always make a note of their company name and the person you’re speaking to. It’s advisable to check the company name with the quote supplied in your ‘My DUBLAA’ account. You can check their company profile, reviews and terms of trading.
- Always read the supplier’s terms and conditions before ordering.
- Each supplier has their own trading conditions.
- Please pay particular attention to their returns policy, who pays for the return postage and if they charge any admin, handling, re-stocking or any other fees.
DOCUMENT YOUR DISCUSSIONS
- Every quote has a message function, so you can ask the supplier questions about their quote.
- Always use the quote message function to note what you agree over the phone for accuracy. This could also help you if there was a problem.
- Don’t use your personal email to contact the supplier.
- Please ask any questions or reply via the quote message function on the quote, so the communication history is all in one place on the platform.
- The supplier’s contact number is also displayed if you need a faster response or prefer to speak to someone.
GET THE PARTS RIGHT - FIRST TIME
- Suppliers on DUBLAA use the vehicle details you supply and their extensive knowledge to quote as accurately as possible.
- Please remember that suppliers haven’t physically seen your vehicle, had access to any maintenance records and most won’t have access to any main dealer databases.
- If you use the message function on the quote to confirm any part numbers, compatibility, or send/request images, it will massively reduce the risk of the supplier sending the wrong parts.
- If you’re in doubt about the part you need, please seek advice from a reputable garage prior to placing your order.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT PAYMENT METHOD
- If you pay for your items by credit or debit card, it gives you added protection.
- If you pay via a bank transfer, cheque, cash, or use services such as Western Union, you do so at your own risk. Your bank won’t help you recover any monies in the event of an issue.
ABOUT PARTS
- Always check the supplier’s terms and conditions for reporting damaged or faulty items.
- Some suppliers insist on being notified within a fixed period of time.
IF THERE’S A PROBLEM
- If the item you purchased is wrong, faulty, damaged, or no longer required, your point of contact is with the supplier who sent the item, not DUBLAA.
- Refer to the quote you received, check the supplier’s returns policy and call the number displayed.
- If you have a problem, please try to contact the supplier over the phone.
- If you can’t contact the supplier by phone, please use the quote message function to make the supplier aware of your problem.
- Never return the items without the supplier's knowledge and agreement.
- If you’ve attempted to contact the supplier to resolve the issue and this is documented in your quote message history, you can raise a support request and DUBLAA will step in to help you. Select help" I have an issue with the supplier" on the Dublaa platform.
THE END - YOUR REVIEWS
- You’ll receive a review request usually within 3 working days of your order being placed and this contains a few questions which you can complete in under a minute.
- If you’re happy with the item and supplier, tell us all about it. Please leave a review about your experience, your comments could help others to choose the right supplier.
- In rare cases, problems can happen and the reviews are there to document such events.
- Negative reviews can make others aware of any problems and warn them about any poor supplier service.
- Leaving negative reviews should always be a last resort and not be positioned as a threat.
- Before submitting your comments, make the supplier aware of your issue, update the quote message history and give them a chance to respond.
- You’re less likely to resolve your issue if you post any negative comments first.
- If you’ve resolved your issue but still wish to leave negative review, ensure your comments are fair, accurate and not personal.
